About My Work: Analysis of Mini Hypothetical Antibacterial Proteins of different microorganisms from their Whole Genome Sequence (WGS): Unlocking Biological Mysteries.

Workflow:

  • WGS data → Prodigal (protein prediction)
  • Filtering mini protein <100 aa (awk-based script)
  • AMP vs Non-AMP prediction → CAMPR4 (Random Forest, cutoff = 0.7)
  • Structure homology modelling → Swiss-Model Tool
  • Electrostatic visualization → PyMOL
  • Validation → PDBsum + UCLA SAVES (Ramachandran plot)
  • Molecular Dynamics Simulations
